NVIDIA pushes physical AI and agents into cities worldwide
NVIDIA's official blog of November 3, 2026 announced a global expansion of city AI, confirmed by two sources — the official blog and an independent report; the deployment scale and benefits claimed by the vendor still require independent verification.

- 01THE ANNOUNCEMENT — NVIDIA's official blog announced the global expansion of city AI on November 3, 2026.
- 02THE CONFIRMATION — An independent report confirmed the content and links of the official blog on the same day.
- 03THE WATCHPOINT — On-site disclosures at the Barcelona smart-city expo on November 3-5, and subsequent renewals and expansions.
WHAT HAPPENEDWhat Happened
NVIDIA's official blog of November 3, 2026 said the company and its partners are extending physical AI and AI agents to cities worldwide, carrying forward the initiative previously announced at GTC Berlin.
In Spain, 1MillionBot combines the open-source ALIA model, trained at the Barcelona Supercomputing Center, with Nemotron to power resident-service agents in Madrid and Catalonia, covering more than 150 deployment sites across Spain.
In the San Francisco Bay Area, LiveX's AI City uses the Cosmos world model and Nemotron models to provide conversational AI assistants in public places such as airports and hospitals.
In Malaysia, ITMAX's SamurAI V2 vision agent runs on RTX PRO 6000 GPUs, targeting support for more than 17,000 cameras by 2027; the vendor says signal-timing tests cut peak corridor travel times by as much as 26%.
In Nigeria, the Dangote Lekki refinery uses Nemotron-powered agents to interpret operational data, and plans to build a digital twin with Omniverse for simulation and training.
WHY IT MATTERSPhysical AI enters municipal systems
What this batch of deployments shares is reuse of existing cameras and sensors rather than building new infrastructure first. NVIDIA says some workloads can start from an RTX workstation or a small GPU system, so municipal departments do not need a large procurement first.
The digital twin is the other thread: in Taiwan, Linker Vision and MVRDV use Omniverse and Nemotron to simulate 15 years of urban forest-canopy evolution; the vendor says one simulation now takes 10 minutes, where a single iteration previously took two weeks.
SIGNAL JUDGMENT — ANALYSISThe signal is deployment density, not the count of launches
Tokenta Signal's judgment: the point of city AI is not another vendor presenting a concept, but the same technology stack appearing simultaneously in real municipal processes in Spain, Malaysia, Nigeria and Taiwan. What to watch next is whether these deployments renew and expand, not new demonstrations at trade shows.
