Adobe Puts Its CX Agent Inside ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Copilot and Genie
Adobe put its CX Enterprise Coworker agent inside ChatGPT, Claude, Databricks Genie, Gemini for business, and Microsoft Copilot on November 4, 2026, with AWS, IBM, and Snowflake to follow. New MCP connectors let marketers act across partner systems with a single request, and nine systems integrators plus six agency groups are building on the agent.

- 01THE LAUNCH — Adobe announced on November 4, 2026 that CX Enterprise Coworker is available within AI platforms from Anthropic, Databricks, Google, OpenAI, and Microsoft.
- 02THE CONNECTORS — New MCP connectors cover Amazon Ads, Databricks Genie, Demandbase, Meta campaigns, Microsoft Work IQ, RainFocus, and Snowflake Cortex AI.
- 03THE WATCHPOINT — Whether governance, approvals, and audit trails hold when agent actions start in a third-party assistant, and when AWS, IBM, and Snowflake availability lands.
WHAT HAPPENEDWhat Happened
Adobe announced on November 4, 2026 that Adobe CX Enterprise Coworker, its agentic teammate for customer experience orchestration, is now available within AI platforms from Anthropic, Databricks, Google, OpenAI, and Microsoft. It runs in ChatGPT as a plugin, in Claude, in Databricks Genie, in Gemini for business, and in Microsoft Copilot, with AWS, IBM, and Snowflake to follow.
The move puts Adobe's agent where marketers already work instead of requiring them to open an Adobe application. Coworker is an end-to-end agentic system for managing the customer lifecycle, from acquiring and engaging prospects to conversion and lifetime value, built on Model Context Protocol (MCP) and Agent2Agent (A2A) standards with human oversight, and it reached general availability in June 2026.
Adobe also launched new connectors for Coworker with pre-built MCP server integrations for Amazon Ads, Databricks Genie, Demandbase, an ads MCP server for Meta campaigns, Microsoft Work IQ, RainFocus, and Snowflake Cortex AI. Marketers can connect the partner systems they already use without custom integration work, then use a single request to pull data and take actions across several systems.
The distribution push comes with a services army attached. Nine global systems integrators (Accenture, Capgemini, Cognizant, Deloitte Digital, EY, IBM, Infosys, PwC, and TCS) and six agency holding companies (dentsu, Havas, Omnicom, Publicis, Stagwell, and WPP) are building customized agentic solutions on Coworker for enterprises and joint clients.
WHY IT MATTERSAdobe is trading the front end for the workflow underneath
Running inside ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and Copilot means Adobe no longer owns the interface where its agent is used. The assistant vendor owns the conversation, the history, and the choice of which connector to call, and Microsoft also sells competing marketing applications inside Copilot.
Adobe's bet is that the layer behind the request, customer profiles, journey logic, content, and governance in Adobe CX Enterprise, is defensible enough that the entry point stops mattering. If that layer is merely comparable to rivals, the assistant vendors gain the leverage to steer marketers toward whichever tools they prefer.
WHY IT MATTERSThe open question is governance, not availability
Coworker can change live journeys and audiences, so a wrong action can reach millions of customers. Adobe says workflows run with human oversight, but it has not disclosed how approvals, audit trails, and rollback work when the action starts in a third-party assistant, nor how it bills for usage that starts outside its own products.
That gap is where enterprise buyers will press hardest. Availability in five assistants is a distribution announcement; proof that governance travels with the agent is what turns pilots into production deployments.
SIGNAL JUDGMENT — ANALYSISAdobe just conceded the assistant war to win the workflow
Tokenta Signal's judgment: Adobe's move is a distribution play disguised as an integration announcement. By meeting marketers inside the assistants IT already standardized on, Adobe trades interface ownership for a shot at owning the customer-experience workflow underneath, and the nine integrators and six agency groups are the channel that turns that shot into deployments. The watchpoint is governance: whether approvals and audit trails hold up when the action starts in ChatGPT or Copilot.
